Wedding Reception Music – Top Tips on Enhancing Your Wedding Drinks Reception and Wedding Breakfast

Setting the mood for a celebration

The drinks reception after the wedding ceremony is a time for congratulations all round. Musicians striking up as the newly married couple and their guests arrive sets a buoyant mood from the outset.

Any style which puts a spring in the step is appropriate. Light classical or Swing Jazz gives a “Ritzy” up-market ambience to the event. If you’re after a more friendly family feel, you might consider traditional tunes … Irish style.

Live music in the background

Music for the wedding reception and breakfast is strictly a background affair. The main focus of attention, of course, is the bride and groom. The wedding music enhances the aura of happiness around the couple. It engenders a sense of relaxed togetherness and encourages chatter, rather than detracting from it.

The number of guests usually dictates the number of musicians needed to create the desired effect. With careful amplification, a duo will provide sufficient atmosphere for a party of up to 70 people. If your celebration is larger, you would be wise to consider a trio or quartet.

Later, your musicians can serenade the guests at the beginning of the wedding breakfast. The added quality and atmosphere that only live music can bring to an event is just the thing to turn your wedding breakfast into a truly memorable occasion.

Making the most of your wedding musicians

Make the best use of the musical skill at your disposal. When you book musicians to perform for you, you can expect them to perform (typically) three sets of live music, each approximately 45 mins long. Use the first set to make your wedding ceremony really special. Any band or ensemble will be happy to discuss in advance your options for each part of the service in order to help you make the best choices. Use the second set to create an up-beat atmosphere at the drinks reception. The final set will kick the wedding breakfast off to a really special start.

With careful use of your investment in live music you can add that extra-special “je ne sais quoi” that transforms an event into a truly memorable celebration … without breaking the bank!

Too Many Baptist Churches in Deep South; Very Problematic Indeed

Have you ever visited the Deep South in the United States? Heck there is a Baptist Church on every corner and it is rather interesting indeed to see all this and even more funny when driving down the road in a Prevost motor home or motor home on a truck chassis which are not all that quiet and you can hear the people singing out side the church, while you drive by.

And I sheet you not; in Macon Georgia we drove down one street with 4 Baptist Churches about 400 yards apart and on both sides of the street and we could hear singing as we drove down the street at the same time from each of them.

Now folks that is scary indeed, that is just too much church for me. There are Too Many Baptist Churches in Deep South and this is very problematic indeed. Some say it keeps people from doing bad things so it is good? It puts the fear of God in them. It makes them better citizens? What for 2 hours before and after church? That is a bunch of bull some of the areas in the Deep South have some of the worst crime in the country and someone tried to break into my motor home at a roadside stake house there?

Putting fear or guilt in someone does not make them a better citizen. There is not moral base that is set. Good people do good things and bad people do bad things; and religion allows good people to do bad things? Too Many Baptist Churches in Deep South is Very Problematic Indeed.

Spinning, but not Out of Control

Is the world spinning faster? Or am I just dizzy?

So many ball games! So many track meets!

So little time!!

But no, I don’t think I’ve been blitzed by ball games or track meets. Watching the kids is fun . . . even when the teams or guys I want to win do not.

No, this feeling I have is foreboding . . uneasiness . . . pain, even . . . a sense that people all around me are suffering, on the inside, on the outside . . . both.

There are ominous signs. The glaciers in Greenland are melting because of global warming. Birds are dying from the flu and scientists say people will be next. People blow up other people and countries threaten to blow other countries into a vapor.

But haven’t those kinds of things always happened? And haven’t people always done that?

Are things worse than ever, or does it just seem that way because our negative-focused but technologically-improved media brings home the bad stuff better than ever?

A tsunami kills hundreds of thousands overseas, a hurricane displaces hundreds of thousands right here at home. There are mudslides, earthquakes, and millions of people across the great continent of Africa are dying in front of our eyes . . . well, not our eyes, because in the northern hemisphere, we’ve chosen not to look.

Temptation is everywhere.

Ah, temptation! That’s the devil’s work.

Too embarrassed to sin where you might be seen? No longer a problem! The devil has arranged to bring sin right into the privacy of our homes, via a myriad of electronic devices. How clever of him. How insidious.

The devil knows us. Since Adam, we’ve been sinners. The devil sells sin. Satan is a champion marketer and we’re in a buying mood.

But where there is bad, there is opportunity for good. God always leaves open an escape route.

We don’t have to watch, listen to, read, eat, drink, or say bad stuff. We can avoid the hangover of hurt and emptiness those things always leave in our hearts. TV sets and computers can be turned off. We can say, “no, thanks,” when offered, or better still, perhaps, we can just keep our mouths shut.

When those electronic devices are on there is good stuff available, too, 24/7 in fact, and much more of it than ever. We can make a joyful noise. We can glorify God with everything we do.

We get to choose.

How big of a God must He be that he would even allow us to choose? After all we’ve done! And will continue to do!

God tells us in the Bible that He sent His only Son to take the punishment we all deserve. Once . . . and for all.

We already know from the Bible that God wins. Expect a frustrated Satan to work harder than ever to put sin between us and the Father as the devil rushes toward his certain end.

End times? In our time? No one knows and we’re not to waste time trying to figure out when. But strictly in an eternal sense . . yes, it will be sooner, not later. Eternity is a long time.

And where do we want to spend eternity? I’ve read that human knowledge, which took 2,000 years to double the first time, now doubles every 18 months. But when it comes to where we spend eternity, we still have the same two choices we’ve always had.

Make your choice and get ready. Start now! And if God is your choice – it’s really a no-brainer, isn’t it? – take your neighbor with you.

Bear With Each Other… PLEASE!

“Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you ma have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.” — Colossians 3:12

Let’s face it–people are difficult sometimes. I haven’t met a person (me included) who doesn’t have specific quirks and issues. Sometimes issues that people have can rub against us like sandpaper. And sometimes these people don’t even know that they are being abrasive or even have an issue!

Yet we are told to “Bear with each other” and to forgive. Out of all my experience with difficult people, I have only one real conclusion that I can come to–most of them don’t even realize that they are being difficult and see themselves as victims and are just trying to be loved!

Think of three people in your life that are “difficult” people. How do you come up with that? Easy! Think of one of your favorite activities, and then think of the three people you would least like to show up! If you like golf, who do you not want to golf with? If you like fishing, who do you not want to fish with? If you like shopping, who do you not want to shop with?

Learning to bear with these people is the first step to letting them feel liked and even loved. Sure, maybe they have real behavioral issues to work out, but they will never get to them without first feeling accepted and loved.

God commands us to bear with each other–and if that wasn’t reason enough, think of all the good that could follow from simple forgiveness!

Thetans in City Hall

TheAgitator.com (www.theagitator.com)

Take note of this!

Here is an example of Thetans taking over a town council. This is happening all over the world. It is unadvertised because Thetans have taken over mainstream media. In a “clear” world this would not happen.

Beware the Dreaded Theet O Vac!

We need to get the Theet O Meter out there! Find the infected people. Get your Theet O Meter plans now. A donation of any size will make it easy for you to detect any Thetan contamination. Donate what you can afford. I will have the plans in your email within 3 days.

Beware the Dreaded Theet O Vac!

I am also accepting donations for the famous Theet O Vac. Once you have located the contamintion, you will need a way to become “clear”. You can go to Hubbards’ scientology outfit and spend thousands of dollars getting “audited” or you could donate a couple of hundred to free the Theet O Vac plans. Once the plans are made public you will build your machine. It will only take you a couple of hours. You will then use the machine to rid yourself and 10 other people of all the Thetans that have been causing them to lead such unhappy lives. Give whatever you can afford, this is not a “church”. I do not want 10 or 20% of your wages. A one time donation of any size will gaurantee you a set of plans once the target is reached.

Beware the Dreaded Theet O Vac!

If you want to live in a word that is free of injustices like the one above (I will bet that every person on that council is infected!) Get the Theet O Meter plans now!

Fighting discouragement!

Are you discouraged? Feeling down and out? Wondering why you should even bother trying to live the Christian life anymore, especially since you seem such a failure? Who hasn’t felt worthless at times? Who hasn’t grown impatient with themselves and felt sick over their lack of spiritual progress? (Lk. 8:15). YOU’RE NOT ALONE! We all go through those valleys of the shadow of death. But take courage: the way must lead up again soon! “Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God” (Ps. 42:11).

Who would encourage you to quit? Would Christ want you to give up? The one who DIED for you? Would God pressure you to surrender? Too many have never realized what a vicious beast and enemy we must face! Even those who haven’t rejected the devil as a superstition haven’t grasped how dangerous he really is to our health and well-being. God picks up the pieces of lives that have been savagely torn and ripped apart and left for dead by sin (Isa. 49:24-25; Amos 3:12).

Satan’s foaming at the mouth against our incredible human potential and wants to take us out like a sniper – one at a time. He hates all mankind with a jealous rage (because we’re created after the Godkind), but he’s especially targeted the brethren (1 Pet. 5:8-11). The Devil can take some things that are true about you and twist them, taking them out of context, and blow them all out of proportion to DESTROY your will to survive! He never stops bad-mouthing us because he’s a MURDEROUS CHARACTER ASSASSIN AND LIAR! (Jn. 8:44; Rev. 12:10) But don’t let the powers of darkness overcome your will to live in the light! Don’t accept Satan’s depressed mind! Don’t fall prey to his hopeless attitude of defeat! He has no right to condemn (Rom. 8:1,33).

King David would get discouraged, but he’d end his prayers on a positive note, showing the healing effect of God’s Spirit upon our minds while we’re engaged in HEARTFELT PRAYER. “I had fainted, unless I had BELIEVED to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart: wait, I say, on the LORD” (Ps. 27:13-14). David believed in God’s goodness, hoped in His mercy, and waited for His sufficient grace – whether grace to pardon or empower (2 Cor. 12:9).

God will give us grace to bear up under life’s many burdens (Heb. 4:16). His Holy Spirit enables us to be graceful – full of grace – even in adverse circumstances. We LIVE AND LEARN through a variety of situations to be gracious in word and deed, attitude and action. David knew beyond any shadow of a doubt that: “The LORD will give strength to His people: the LORD will bless His people with strength” (Ps. 29:11). So “Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the LORD”(Ps. 31:24).

Even if you’ve gotten carried away, your sins have taken you far from God, and Satan holds you captive ( 2 Tim. 2:26; I Cor. 5:5), remember God and He’ll remember you! Not that He’s ever forgotten you: “But Zion said, The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yes, they may forget, yet will I not forget you. Behold, I’ve graven you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me” (Isa. 49:14-16). God’s love for us goes far beyond our love for Him. He proved this when Jesus’ palms had stakes driven through them (Zech. 13:6).

Some have been foolishly deceived by sin and have become carelessly entangled again – trapped in a danger zone – but as long as they don’t give up they CAN overcome what has presently overcome them! (Heb. 3:13; 2 Pet. 2:20). It’s only those who’ve completely turned their backs on God, who refuse to get back up when knocked down in the ring, that will forfeit victory.

“And yet for all this (in spite of ourselves), when they be in the land of their enemies, I will not cast them away, neither will I abhor them, to destroy them utterly, and to break my covenant with them: for I am the LORD their God” (Lev. 26:44). God promises to release, regather and restore. He’ll free us from those sins that have cruelly held our time and attention, regather our spiritual senses (since Satan’s psychological warfare had left us a basket-case and scatter-brained [Lk. 22:31-32; Deut. 28:66-67]), and restore us to sanity and a right relationship with Him (where we belong), even “If any of thine be driven out unto the outmost parts of heaven, from thence will the LORD thy God gather thee, and from thence will He fetch thee”(Deut. 30:3-4). No matter how far you’ve strayed, God hasn’t lost sight of you. “Whither shall I go from thy Spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?” (Ps. 139:7).

If you begin to cry out to God for help, even if it’s only a whimper because you’re so weak, He’ll see and hear and respond. “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit… none of them that trust in Him shall be desolate” (Ps. 34:18,22). “For I will not contend forever, neither will I always be wroth: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made… I have seen his ways and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners” (Isa. 57:15-18).

God sees what trouble we’ve gotten into and where our relapse into sin has dangerously misled and stranded us, bringing us almost to the point of no return, but NOTHING can separate you from God’s love unless you let it! (Rom 8:35-39). As long as there’s a spark of God’s Spirit, God can renew our minds and transform our lives! (Ps. 51:10). God will finish what He’s started in our lives (Philip. 1:6; Isa. 66:9). Never forget that we worship a MIRACLE-WORKING GOD!

Remember the prodigal son was still distant from his father, their relationship estranged, but when he “came to himself” and headed home – even when he he was yet a GREAT way off – “his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck, and kissed him”(Lk. 15:17, 20). God knows where you’re at and what direction you’re headed in your heart and mind even if your actions haven’t caught up yet with your attitude! God knows they will, with time. “For He remembers our frame [make-up]; He remembers we are but dust” (Ps.103:14). God wants to encourage us to change, not discourage us from even trying (2 Cor. 2:7).

Constructive criticism, not destructive. Judgment with mercy. God helps but Satan hinders progress, but we CONQUER BY CONTINUING, one step at a time (I Thes. 2:18; 2 Pet. 3:18). God gave David the Kingdom, but he had to fight for it! So do we! (Matt. 11:12; I Tim. 6:12). Otherwise we’d take it for granted. Keep up the struggle (Lk. 13:24). All the things you believe in are worth fighting for. Growth comes in stages. We must patiently let our trials run their course and create God’s character within us (Heb. 12:11; Jas. 1:4).

Satan wants to extinguish your light (I Tim. 4:16). He hates the sacred embers of God’s Spirit, Light and Truth we maintain and represent, as a royal priesthood (I Pet. 2:9; Jn. 17:17; Ex. 27:20). God doesn’t kick us when we’re down and out, but encourages us to GET UP AND GET OVER IT and get on with His Work! (Ps. 37:24; Philip. 3:13). When your faith falters and your confidence is shakey, Christ won’t snuff you out but will ADD MORE OIL so we can rise and shine! (Isa. 42:3). “For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to OBTAIN SALVATION… Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as you also do” (I Thes. 5:9-11).

“For God commends His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us…For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by His life…by whom we have received the atonement” (Rom. 8-11). If God can express such love for us when we weren’t even trying to lead a Christian life pleasing to Him, how much more now that we’re trying – however imperfectly? Don’t we suffer because we hunger and thirst for righteousness?

Brethren appreciate your HOLY SUFFERING! It’s working out a PURPOSE in your life that will last throughout eternity! Growing pains hurt.

We ought to love God all the more when we glimpse His mercy and patience towards us. His goodness ought to stir us to want to get closer to Him and do what we can to show how much we appreciate His tender love (Rom. 2:4; Lk. 7:47). Nothing should get between our relationship with our Creator God! If God would rescue our forefathers time and again, when they cried out to Him, HOW MUCH MORE will He save us from the Lake of Fire? (Jude 23, 24). God can save us out of sinful situations and restore His Priesthood Promise to us (Zech. 3). We can be “a brand plucked out of the fire,” saved from “the furnace of affliction” (Isa. 48:10). God can forcibly remind us the hard way that He’s what we really want, His fulfilling Kingdom and righteousness, not the shallow things that couldn’t possibly fill the void in life (Ps. 106:15; 107:9).

We must keep UPPERMOST in mind the meaning and purpose of life: to develop God’s holy, righteous character in joyful anticipation of God’s Kingdom. This will help us to confront every challenge that life affords us in this process of purification that we call conversion. We must remember: “There has no temptation taken you but such as is common [not unusual] to man: but GOD IS FAITHFUL, who will not permit you to be tempted above your tolerance level; but will provide with every temptation a way out, so that you can handle it” (I Cor. 10:13 paraphrased).

And realize “…that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the GLORY which shall be revealed in us” (Rom. 8:18) because Christ will soon return and every practicing Christian will be made perfect! Then we’ll assist our Savior in preparing the way for our Father’s awesome arrival with NEW JERUSALEM! (Rev. 21:3).

God’s Kingdom is closer with each day, so we should hold our heads up and not stay discouraged, but permit ourselves to BE ENCOURAGED to carry on (Isa. 35:3; Lk. 21:28). All stumble, but don’t wallow (Ps. 37:24). Let your attitude be; “I shall NOT die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD. The LORD has chastened me sore: but He has not given me over to death”(Ps. 118:17-18). Hallelujah!

God’s forgiveness and Christ’s cleansing power remain in effect (Isa. 18). God knows what we’ve been through and has gone through it with us, in the thick of it, bearing His Crown of Thorns (Isa. 63:9; Gen. 22:13; Ex. 3:2). God couldn’t get much closer (Jer. 23:23). The bottom line is: have HOPE and not despair; FAITH and not fear! After all, “…it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” (Lk. 12:32).

A Short Guide to Affordable Web Hosting

For individuals & businesses, choosing an affordable web hosting plan on a limited budget is a challenge.

The main reason for this is that most companies offering ecommerce hosting solutions focus on the higher-end corporate market and often overlook the small business web hosting segment.

However, finding reliable web hosting isn’t exactly a cakewalk, but it can be relatively easy if you follow these simple steps: define your requirements; user review survey; create a short list of potential ecommerce web hosting as well as email hosting services and ask questions.

Define your requirements:

• How much disk space and bandwidth is necessary?

• Type of hosting – dedicated / private or shared web hosting?

• Will you require CGI or database capacities?
• What type of hosting plan will you need – Windows hosting plans or Linux hosting plans.
• Will your website have any streaming media requirements?

• Will your site change substantially in the future?
• Affordable web hosting only for your purposes or for clients – shared web hosting.

User Review Survey:

• Always take testimonials at face value. User forums are the best place to find the truth. Also mail webmasters to get a reality checks.
• Be wary of Web hosting directories and mailing lists, many are owned & operated by Web hosts.

• Read the declarations regarding service uptime, downtime, backup, security etc.

Create a shortlist:

• Make a list of potential ecommerce web hosting and email hosting services that you see are recommended the most and complained about the least.
• Determine which hosts offer specific services that you need, with scalability for future changes.
• Determine which host fits your price range.

Ask questions:
• Ask mundane questions to check the quality, speed & efficacy of their response.
• Ask the service providers technical questions to gauge their acumen, knowledge and accuracy.
• Ask a lot of question to determine the host’s commitment to customers.
• Subject host to an honesty test: offer them the opportunity to up sell you needlessly. (simple yet effective)

The Tricks of the Trade
SOHO consumers can find the most effective hosting services for their business if they follow and understand the following recommendations:

• Make sure the hosting company offers 24/7/365 technical support by phone, email and chat whether you have opted for windows hosting plans or Linux hosting plans.
• Do not be seduced by hosts offering cheap shared hosting services or extra services than you need. Most of them skimp on security & support.

• Choose a host who is flexible, scalable, and who can grow with your business.
• Ensure that you can add domains to a core plan and resell services.

• Ensure that the host offers a knowledge base of scripts, online marketing effective coding. (A surefire way to check their scale of operations)
• Check to ensure that the host offers some level of interaction.

• Watch for signs of rudeness, impatience and unresponsiveness.
• Do not sign a long-term contact for hosting services right away.
• If you have more than one site, consider spreading them among several hosts.

For a small web business start-up, choosing the right ecommerce hosting at the right time can be the best strategic move. It can enable your business to grow fast and offer you a high ROI. Reliable and affordable web hosting can be the crucial factor between failure & success.

Summary – For a small web business start-up, choosing the right ecommerce hosting at the right time can be the best strategic move. It can enable your business to grow fast and offer you a high ROI. Reliable and affordable web hosting can be the crucial factor between your failure & success.

Top 10 Design Issues According To Web Marketing!

When it comes to designing your site, there are 2 ways you can ultimately go. a) Designing for yourself and no one else, b) Designing to fit web marketing and customer attracting methods.

Here are the top 10 issues you should always consider:

1) Flash vs. HTML vs. ASP vs. PHP: The type of code you use for your site may have a huge impact.

- Flash is not yet ready to fully intergrate within web marketing. Although technology is advancing, search engines aren’t moving quickly enough to include this style of coding in their rankings.

- ASP, if your site is completely data base driven, make sure that your code is written into the page, not being pulled from tables every time. Also, make sure to pre-plan your meta tags within the data base. Too many data bases out there never implement a meta tag strategy.

- PHP/Java : These are both safe programming methods, just remember to keep it clean and simple. Don’t forget to test your programming.

- HTML : Probably always going to be the programming method of choice when it comes to servicing search engines and user friendly web sites.

2) Always test your site for bugs. Even if you think your programming is perfect, most times it’s not. Search engines / Visitors will browse your site with more ease. Test your site here: http://netmechanic.com/toolbox/html-code.htm or here: http://www.thewebclinic.com

3) Make your site look as professional as you can. If you can’t hire a web designer / graphic designer, go out and spend a little bit of money and buy yourself a really great template for your site.

4) Put up your site for reviews! This is so important because other peoples reviews will reflect exactly what your visitors will think. Opening up to some reviews will create more sales.

You can add your site for review here:
http://www.webproworld.com/viewforum.php?f=4

5) Promote proper “Title Tags”. While promoting your site, make sure to create a proper title tag that best describes your entire site. Also, make sure to include your entire title within all the “Link exchanges” that you make!

6) Do not break any search engine / spamming rules! This is crucial for your long term survival. Spamming is only a quick fix with a high price attached to it.

7) Implement a link building strategy for your site. Make sure to include a link exchange program within your site when you are designing it. So many people add it on later and it seems like it doesn’t belong with the site. Less people will want to leave your site if your link resources looks like the rest of your design.

8) Always expand your information. Search engines / visitors get bored quickly. Bringing in fresh, new content will keep them interested and keep them coming back.

9) Try not to get wrapped up in the “Google Dance”. Too many people start watching their online performance instead of increasing it. Promote daily and always stick with it.

10) Create banners, towers, buttons for people to use. It never hurts having someone take your buttons and adding them to their site for nothing in exchange.

Special 11) Stay up-to-date with web marketing news.
Whether it be “http://www.webproworld.com”, “http://sitepronews.com”, or “http://www.smartads.info/newsletter”, always keep up with standards of marketing online!
