Intelius, founded on 2003, is led by a powerhouse cast of executives, all backed by brilliant technical expertise and years of experience. Naveen Jain, CEO and co-founder, formed the company after leaving InfoSpace, a developer of Internet software and application services. He also spent seven years working for Microsoft as a senior executive. He holds a BS degree in Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI School of Business. For his visionary and innovative leadership, he was recognized a finalist for the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award in 2006.
Intelius’ Chairman of the Board, William Owens, is a retired Admiral of the US Navy. He has acquired impressive professional experience working as partner and CEO of AEA Holdings, a private equity firm and as Chairman and CEO of Teledesic LLC, a satellite communications service provider. He holds a BA degree in Mathematics from the US Naval Academy and a master’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from London’s Oxford University.
Young Intellius senior executives Edward Petersen and Niraj Shah have also been honored by the Puget Sound Business Journal as among the 40 Under 40 program, a distinction given to young executives and entrepreneurs who have shown their excellence and dynamic leadership. Petersen is Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing while Shah is Executive Vice President for Engineering.
