Ken Mehlman’s Memberships

Ken Mehlman is only forty-one years old but he already has a wide range of experience in politics and policy. He has served various positions over the years even being the 62nd chairman of the Republican National Committee. Before that, he was the chief of staff for Congresswoman Kay Granger and the legislative director for Congressman Lamar S. Smith. He was the campaign manager during former President George W. Bush’s re-election campaign in 2004.

Ken Mehlman also served numerous high positions in government offices including Capitol Hill and the White House. He is a trustee for the US Holocaust Memorial Council, the Strong American Schools Foundation, and Franklin & Marshall College. At the National Endowment for Democracy, Ken Mehlman is a member of the board of directors as well as the Senior Advisory Committee of the Harvard University Institute of Politics. Aside from that he is part of the Council on Foreign Relations Climate Change Task Force and a cabinet member of the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Memorial Foundation.

Ken Mehlman is currently a senior executive of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, Inc. serving the position of Managing Director and Head of Global Public Affairs. He joined the company in 2008.
